Fairy Door Painting

Join us on Friday, August 2 for a fairy-tastic craft session at Allandale Mansion! In this session, participants will paint a fairy door as well as enjoy a themed scavenger hunt for local fairies, have a delicious snack, and take pictures at a special selfie spot for the event. Costumes and wings are encouraged, but please make sure they are either mess-friendly or bring a costume change.
At the conclusion of the craft session, participants will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite doors and the top three will receive a fairy-themed gift.
About the Instructor: Laura Webb (Faeriefoots’) is a Johnson City based eco-artist with a fairy/cottage core aesthetic. Most of her art has been recycled in some form with purpose to offer endearing and creative solutions to mass disposal. Her whimsical fairy doors are even created with water recycled from her studio’s air space and (even though they are outdoor safe) they are naturally degradable in time, unlike most plastics. Laura will have some of her creations for sale during the class.
